Indianapolis was the site of the 246th National ACS Meeting, and MJA traveled there to deliver a talk on the group’s work toward a dynamic covalent molecular switch. MJA Lab collaborator Prof. Brendan Dutmer (Highland Community College) also presented a poster on the computational work he and his students have been conducting (along with Prof. Tom Gilbert, NIU) to investigate silicon Lewis acidity in some of the MJA Lab systems. MJA was also reunited with many former colleagues, including D.Phil. student Daniel Yin and Dr. Sam Thompson (University of Oxford), pictured above.
